Mr. Dees is an alumnus of Texas State University - San Marcos with B.S. in Wildlife Biology ('91) and a M.S. in biology ('94). His graduate research focused on northern bobwhite reproduction and ecology. Following graduation and several years as a professional wildlife biologist, he joined the WCJC faculty in 1996. He has taught General Biology, Environmental Biology, Vertebrate Anatomy, Human Anatomy and Physiology and Wildlife Management courses during his time at WCJC.

I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority.
