Stephen Lyford
Dr. Lyford is the Program Director of Computer Science and full-time instructor at Wharton County Junior College. He has been teaching full time for eight years, and taught adjunct for four years. Dr. Lyford mainly teaches Network Administration, Cybersecurity, Server, and Introduction courses. He received his Bachelors in Computer Science and his Master's in Educational Technology from Sam Houston State University. He received his Ph.D. from Northcentral University in Cybersecurity. In addition to his teaching career, Dr. Lyford has over 15 years working in industry in multiple roles surrounding information technology and network administration. He is married and has 3 kids; two boys and a girl. Dr. Lyford is also the Children's pastor at First Baptist Church of El Campo.
