Sharon Prince
Sharon Prince has taught for over twenty years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Radford University in Radford, Virginia in 1987. After she graduated, she decided to take a year away from academic pursuits and lived in a Franciscan community dedicated to serving the poor in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. At the end of that year, Prince returned to higher education as a teaching fellow at Radford University where she began her master’s degree in English. She finished her master’s in 1990. Since her teaching fellowship at Radford University, Prince has taught at a variety of institutions, ranging from West Virginia University to Wharton County Junior College. She teaches both face-to-face and online classes. She has served as the English department head since 2004.
