William Heierman


Mr. Heierman received his Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with Highest Honor from the Georgia Institute of Technology in June, 1965.He earned a Master of Science in Mathematics from the Courant Institute of New York University under a National Science Foundation Fellowship in June, 1967.  He taught Mathematics at Kingsborough Community College of The City University of New York from September, 1969 until January, 1998.  From September, 1999 until August, 2001 he was employed by Central Texas College as a Developmental Instructor in Mathematics and a Naval College PACE (Program for Afloat College Education)Instructor in Mathematics and English.  He joined the Faculty of Wharton County Junior College as a full-time Instructor in Mathematics in August, 2001, and currently teaches academic (credit-bearing) courses:  College Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Elementary Calculus.
